What You’ll Do
- Manage and oversee the investment portfolio services, ensuring alignment with relevant legislation and policies.
- Conduct investment accounting, valuation, and disclosure in compliance with GRAP standards.
- Monitor and manage investment risk by linking actuarial risk appetite and tolerance to portfolio limits.
- Ensure compliance and governance reporting to internal and external oversight structures.
- Oversee the financial, human, and physical resources of the Sub-directorate effectively.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification in Investment Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field at NQF Level 7 recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of five years of relevant working experience, with at least three years in an operational investment environment.
- Two years of experience at an Assistant Director or Junior Management level in an investment setting.
- In-depth knowledge of PFMA, NT Regulations, and various investment governance frameworks, including GRAP and IFRS.
- Strong skills in investment analysis, financial modelling, and portfolio management, along with a solid understanding of risk management frameworks.
