What You’ll Do
- Develop, review, and implement policies and guidelines for business intelligence and information management.
- Facilitate and coordinate public access to information in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Manage and maintain the organisational Knowledge Resource Centre to support knowledge sharing.
- Oversee the protection of personal information and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Manage human resources and performance reporting in alignment with established regulations.
What You’ll Need
- A qualification at NQF level 7 in Information and Knowledge Management, Records Management, Information Sciences, or Data Sciences.
- 3-5 years of experience in a junior management role within the relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of the Public Service Act, Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA), and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Familiarity with data management principles and tools, as well as relevant government policies and legislation.
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements
A qualification at NQF level 7, as recognised by SAQA, in Information and Knowledge Management, Records Management, Information Sciences or Data Sciences PLUS 3-5 years’ experience at junior management level in the relevant field.Knowledge and understanding of Public Service Act and Regulations.
Knowledge and understanding of Social Development Sector.
Knowledge and understanding of Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA), and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Knowledge and understanding of National Archives and Records Service Act.

Job Duties
