What You’ll Do
- Manage the interface between GPAA and service providers to develop an ICT service catalogue.
- Oversee the implementation of new systems and processes based on COBIT and ITIL frameworks.
- Engage with stakeholders to establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and operational level agreements (OLAs).
- Compile service compliance reports and provide status updates to committees on ICT service delivery.
- Forecast areas of service deficiencies and propose improvements to enhance service effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage relationships with external service providers.
- Coordinate client satisfaction surveys to gauge service delivery effectiveness.
- Monitor and address audit findings and risks related to the ICT unit.
- Implement ITIL processes for effective incident management and support services.
- Conduct research on new technologies to support strategic objectives within the agency.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant 3-year National Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of six years’ experience in the ICT field, with at least three years in management.
- ITIL v3 qualifications and Customer Service Certification are advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess knowledge of networking environments, including TCP/IP and VPN.
- Familiarity with data centre environments and business application support.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to see the big picture, with a focus on customer service orientation and strategic decision-making.
