What You’ll Do
- Monitor and facilitate the development and implementation of human resource policies.
- Identify areas for policy development or revision and conduct gap analyses.
- Compile and draft policies, incorporating stakeholder input for comprehensive feedback.
- Present finalized policies to management for approval, preparing necessary documentation.
- Manage the implementation of human resource delegations in line with legislative requirements.
- Advocate for consistent implementation of human resource policies across the department.
- Organize information sessions to communicate and educate staff on new policies and delegations.
- Address human resource-related administrative tasks as directed by management.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate and National Diploma in Human Resource Management, Public Management, Public Administration, or a related field (NQF level 6).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a junior management role within a human resource environment.
- Strong knowledge of human resource policies and prescripts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven abilities in strategic planning, leadership, and policy drafting.
- Competence in negotiation and consultation with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and problem-solving skills.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
