What You’ll Do

• Oversee the provision of crop and animal production services to farmers.
• Coordinate and deliver extension services and develop strong linkages with various stakeholders.
• Facilitate capacity development services for farmers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Provide administrative support services to ensure efficient operations.
• Manage resources, including human and physical assets, in line with relevant regulations and directives.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 qualification and an undergraduate qualification in agriculture (NQF 7) or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the agricultural sector, with at least 3 years at an Assistant Director level.
• Valid driver’s license (unless you have a disability).
• Strong knowledge of the legislative framework governing public service and agricultural policies.
• Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in communication, conflict management, and report writing.
• Ability to work under changing and challenging circumstances with a client-focused approach.
