What You’ll Do
- Manage risk management services within the Compensation Fund, ensuring effective implementation and adherence to risk protocols.
- Conduct and oversee risk assessments and profiling to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Develop and manage risk awareness, education, and training programs for staff.
- Efficiently manage resources within the sub-directorate to support risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to foster a culture of risk governance and compliance across the organization.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate risk management practices to ensure continuous improvement.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Risk Management, Internal Auditing, Accounting Science, or Finance, recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 5 years of functional experience in a risk or internal audit environment, with at least 3 years at an Assistant Director or Junior Management level.
- Knowledge of ISO Standards, King Code on Corporate Governance, and Compensation Fund regulations.
- Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS) and the Public Finance Management Act.
- Strong skills in risk sensing, monitoring, evaluation, and data analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong planning and organizational abilities.
