What You’ll Do

• Coordinate the implementation of wellness management programs.
• Implement the Health and Wellness strategic framework.
• Facilitate assessment, counselling, and referral services for vulnerable employees.
• Analyze needs to identify psycho-social risks and recommend interventions.
• Organize managerial training and life skills training for employees.
• Conduct annual reviews of wellness management policies.
• Oversee the implementation of HIV and TB management programs.
• Manage Health and Productivity Management programs.
• Lead health screenings and awareness initiatives according to health calendars.
• Prepare and compile Employee Health and Wellness reports.
• Manage external Employee Health and Wellness service providers.

What You’ll Need

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Social Sciences (NQF7) or a relevant qualification recognized by SAQA.
• Registration with HPCSA as a Counsellor or Psychologist or with SACSSP as a Social Worker.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in employee health and wellness, with at least three years at a junior managerial level.
• Knowledge of Project Management, EAPA SA standards, and relevant health frameworks.
• Understanding of HR practices, Public Finance Management Act, and departmental procedures.
• Strong planning, communication, and leadership skills.
• Advanced counselling and EAP skills, along with the ability to analyze and develop policies.
