What You’ll Do
- Manage the adjudication process, ensuring cases are prepared and reviewed efficiently.
- Oversee the drafting of detailed adjudication reports and provide information to appeal panels.
- Develop and implement guidelines for Special Pensions adjudication processes.
- Conduct research on best practices in adjudication administration.
- Ensure compliance with GPAA strategic objectives and policies.
- Lead and manage a team, setting performance targets and monitoring outputs.
- Facilitate effective departmental communication and staff productivity.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant three-year bachelor’s degree or B Tech qualification in the Legal field.
- A minimum of six years of appropriate experience, including three years in a management role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy.
- Knowledge of Employee Benefits, PFMA, and the Special Pensions Act.
- Excellent analytical, financial management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
- A customer-oriented attitude and an outgoing personality.
