What You’ll Do

  • Implement and monitor curriculum and institutional support for TVET Colleges.
  • Develop and support curriculum frameworks in line with the department’s objectives.
  • Provide guidance on formal and non-formal educational programs.
  • Conduct evaluations of TVET Colleges to ensure compliance with educational standards.
  • Support student admission and enrolment management processes.
  • Monitor the implementation of the National Improvement Plan for teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including lecturers and other government departments.
  • Assist with planning, budgeting, and management within the Directorate.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF level 7) in Education or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) or PSET sector, with at least three years at junior management level.
  • Sound knowledge of curriculum development and institutional support.
  • Familiarity with legal frameworks and policies applicable to the TVET sector.
  • Proven project management, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing proficiency.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s licence.
