What You’ll Do

  • Fabricate dental prostheses using suitable materials and techniques
  • Implement infection control procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Supervise and guide a dental laboratory assistant in their duties
  • Maintain accurate daily production registers and compile monthly production statistics
  • Engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities to stay current in the field
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate / Grade 12
  • Appropriate qualification for registration with the South African Dental Technician Council (SADTC) as a Dental Technician
  • For South African qualified candidates: no experience required post-registration with the HPCSA (if applicable)
  • For foreign qualified candidates: one year of relevant experience post-registration with the HPCSA (if applicable)
  • Knowledge of all dental technology disciplines, oral anatomy, and tooth morphology
  • Familiarity with dental technology equipment and materials
