What You’ll Do

  • Provide holistic and integrated support for victims of crime, witnesses, and customers in the court environment.
  • Create a safe and secure atmosphere for individuals to testify, minimizing the risk of secondary trauma.
  • Implement effective court preparation techniques tailored for children and adult victims.
  • Liaise with prosecutors and managers, ensuring comprehensive reporting and coordination.
  • Perform duties in alignment with accepted court preparation practices.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate B Degree (NQF level 7) or a three-year Diploma (NQF level 6) in Social Science, Behavioural Studies, or a related field.
  • At least one year of relevant working experience, which can include experience gained during training.
  • Competency in acting independently, professionally, and with accountability and credibility.
  • Strong coordination and counselling skills, particularly when working with children.
  • Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System and excellent administrative abilities.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
