What You’ll Do
- Facilitate and coordinate the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process to ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
- Develop and manage Environmental Authorizations, including conditions and exemptions.
- Provide technical and procedural advice related to impact management to relevant stakeholders.
- Implement various Integrated Environmental Management tools and strategies.
- Perform administrative functions related to environmental management processes.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate Honours degree or an equivalent qualification in Natural Sciences, Environmental Management, Environmental Law, or Environmental Sciences.
- EAPASA registration as per S24H of NEMA.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Environmental Management, with at least 3 years focused on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to navigate both fieldwork and office environments.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
