What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement innovative environmental education programs in schools and communities.
  • Drive community initiatives aimed at raising environmental awareness.
  • Create and oversee career advisory programs in educational institutions.
  • Lead and coordinate tree planting initiatives across the district.
  • Align educational programs with the priorities of the environmental sector.
  • Handle administrative tasks and related functions to support operational efficiency.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF 6 qualification in Environmental Management, Nature Conservation, or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in Environmental Management and Education, preferably at a supervisory level.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong knowledge of Environmental Legislations and community development facilitation.
  • Excellent human relations, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in report writing and computer literacy.
  • Managerial skills with an ability to plan, organize, and compile reports effectively.
