What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with winemakers on the maintenance and servicing of cellar equipment.
  • Assist in cellar administration tasks, including managing stock and documentation systems like WineMS and SAWIS.
  • Ensure the chemical store is well-stocked and organized.
  • Support the Cellar Manager with human resources management and general administrative duties.
  • Help implement cellar wastewater management systems.
  • Coordinate and assist during the grape harvest and wine production processes.
  • Conduct evaluations of wine machinery functionality and ensure timely servicing.
  • Participate in quality management and laboratory analysis of wines.
  • Maintain accreditation systems according to industry standards.

What You’ll Need

  • A 3-year National Diploma in Oenology or a higher qualification.
  • A valid Integrated Production of Wine (IPW) certificate.
  • A valid Code C1 driving license and a Forklift license.
  • At least 1 year of relevant winemaking experience.
  • Proficiency in wine production techniques and laboratory analysis.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to innovate and think creatively.
