What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive medical care for patients admitted to the hospital.
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in academic training programs and clinical audits.
  • Support hospital management in maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and final assessments in line with the Performance Management and Development System.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

What You’ll Need

  • Appropriate qualifications allowing registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Orthodontics.
  • Valid work permit (for non-South Africans).
  • Sound knowledge of medical ethics and public health regulations.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary management and teamwork.
  • Competency in clinical assessments, consultations, and management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and teaching junior staff.
