What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

  • Appropriate qualifications for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
  • Valid work permit required for non-South African applicants.
  • Sound knowledge of medical ethics and public health regulations.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary management and teamwork within the medical field.
  • Skills in consultation, clinical assessment, and patient management.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and in a diverse team environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to teaching and mentoring junior staff within the department.
