What You’ll Do

• Execute medical duties and functions proficiently to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Manage patients admitted to a level 2/3 package of service facility.
• Assist in preparing and implementing clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate actively in academic and training programs for continuous professional development.
• Conduct clinical audits and enhance patient management strategies.
• Support hospital management in delivering efficient healthcare services.
• Comply with performance management and development systems, including quarterly reviews.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualifications for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Neurosurgery.
• A valid work permit for non-South Africans.
• Sound knowledge of medical ethics and multidisciplinary management.
• Experience in the relevant medical discipline, with varying requirements based on the grade (Grade 1: Less than 5 years, Grade 2: 5-10 years, Grade 3: 10+ years).
• Excellent clinical assessment and management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
