What You’ll Do
- Manage patient care in accordance with hospital standards and protocols.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in academic and training programs to enhance professional skills.
- Conduct clinical audits and engage in continuous professional development.
- Support hospital management in maintaining efficient patient care services.
- Comply with the Performance Management and Development System by conducting quarterly reviews and final assessments.
What You’ll Need
- Appropriate qualifications for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Neurology.
- Valid work permit for non-South African applicants.
- Sound knowledge of medical ethics, multidisciplinary management, and teamwork.
- Experience in the relevant medical discipline (less than 5 years for Grade 1, 5-10 years for Grade 2, and over 10 years for Grade 3).
- Strong clinical assessment and management skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and with a diverse team.
