What You’ll Do

• Manage patient care in accordance with hospital standards and protocols.
• Assist in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate in academic and training programs to enhance professional skills.
• Conduct clinical audits and engage in continuous professional development.
• Support hospital management in maintaining efficient patient care services.
• Comply with the Performance Management and Development System by conducting quarterly reviews and final assessments.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualifications for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Neurology.
• Valid work permit for non-South African applicants.
• Sound knowledge of medical ethics, multidisciplinary management, and teamwork.
• Experience in the relevant medical discipline (less than 5 years for Grade 1, 5-10 years for Grade 2, and over 10 years for Grade 3).
• Strong clinical assessment and management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and with a diverse team.
