What You’ll Do

  • Convene monthly meetings with CDWs to discuss progress and strategies.
  • Coordinate the development and updates of community profiles and ward information.
  • Network with various government levels and agencies to enhance community support.
  • Monitor and improve service delivery through structured intervention processes.
  • Facilitate communication channels for community engagements and feedback.
  • Disseminate government information through brochures and pamphlets.
  • Attend relevant municipal and district meetings to represent CDW interests.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate and a National Diploma in Public Administration, Management, Social Sciences, Community Development Studies, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a community development environment.
  • Strong understanding of public participation and community development dynamics.
  • Excellent planning, leadership, and supervisory skills.
  • Proficiency in using Information Communication and Technology to achieve objectives.
  • A valid Driver’s Licence and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Deep knowledge of government policies and regulations, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
