What You’ll Do

• Conduct in and out-patient clinical assessments and interventions.
• Provide forensic services, including 30-day observations and state patient interventions.
• Perform psychometric assessments to evaluate mental health conditions.
• Assist with general and clinical administrative tasks.
• Participate in academic programmes, including case presentations, journal clubs, and ethics discussions.

What You’ll Need

• A completed Honours Degree in Psychology and successful completion of the M1 theoretical component.
• Progress on the thesis/dissertation component of your Master’s Degree, with written confirmation from your research supervisor.
• Registration as an intern psychologist with the HPCSA expected in 2027.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer literacy to support administrative tasks.
