What You’ll Do
- Conduct in and out-patient clinical assessments and interventions.
- Provide forensic services, including 30-day observations and state patient interventions.
- Perform psychometric assessments to evaluate mental health conditions.
- Assist with general and clinical administrative tasks.
- Participate in academic programmes, including case presentations, journal clubs, and ethics discussions.
What You’ll Need
- A completed Honours Degree in Psychology and successful completion of the M1 theoretical component.
- Progress on the thesis/dissertation component of your Master’s Degree, with written confirmation from your research supervisor.
- Registration as an intern psychologist with the HPCSA expected in 2027.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer literacy to support administrative tasks.
