What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the compilation of the District training plan and ensure its alignment with national priorities.
  • Prioritize and facilitate training for various health programs, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Monitor the training health budget and manage the procurement of necessary resources.
  • Conduct skills audits across all facilities and develop comprehensive training plans to address identified gaps.
  • Facilitate mentorship agreements for priority training and ensure attendees receive ongoing support post-training.
  • Compile and manage data related to healthcare training providers to enhance training functions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Coordinate reporting of all training activities and maintain standardized attendance registers.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12/Matric Certificate.
  • An appropriate B Degree/National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Nursing.
  • Minimum of 7 years nursing experience after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC.
  • Registration as a Midwife/Accoucheur with SANC is required.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
  • Current Registration with SANC and a valid Driver’s License (Code 8).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, alongside knowledge of District Health Systems and relevant regulations.
