What You’ll Do

• Implement and monitor maternal and child health policies and guidelines across clinics and hospitals.
• Conduct clinical audits to ensure compliance with health standards and frameworks.
• Analyse program indicators such as maternal mortality rates and immunization coverage.
• Develop Quality Improvement Plans based on data findings.
• Facilitate training and clinical support for junior staff and nursing students.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote best practices in maternal and child health services.
• Ensure adherence to departmental objectives and quality assurance protocols.

What You’ll Need

• Senior Certificate/Grade 12 and Basic R425 qualification (Diploma/Degree in Nursing) or equivalent, allowing registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• A minimum of seven years of relevant nursing experience post-registration with the SANC in General Nursing.
• Specialized experience in Maternal and Child Health services, with 3 to 5 years preferred.
• Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for data analysis and report writing.
• A valid driver’s licence.
