About the Role
The Department of Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Practitioner Grade 1 to 2 for the Albertinia Clinic, situated in the Hessequa Sub-district of the Western Cape. What You’ll Do
- Manage clinical comprehensive health services at the facility.
- Plan and implement health promotion and prevention activities in the community.
- Establish links with community structures and non-profit organizations.
- Collect health data and prepare reports for local health initiatives.
- Provide primary health care services to the surrounding communities.
- Assist in managing human resources, finance, and health support services.
- Oversee infrastructure and equipment management within the clinic.
What You’ll Need
- Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent, allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- A post-basic nursing qualification in Clinical Nursing Science or a four-year Bachelor Degree in Nursing, with SANC registration.
- Grade 1: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in general nursing after registration with SANC.
- Grade 2: Minimum of 14 years’ experience in nursing, with at least 10 years in a relevant specialty.
- Valid driver’s license (Code B/EB) and willingness to travel.
- Excellent communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
- NIMART training or experience is preferred.
