What You’ll Do
- Provide optimal, holistic nursing care in a professional and legal framework.
- Deliver comprehensive health care services within the Primary Health Care Unit.
- Manage resources effectively and efficiently to enhance patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement programs to maintain high healthcare standards.
- Supervise patient care standards and ensure compliance with health policies.
- Foster constructive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Report on patient safety and address challenges within the unit.
- Implement and adhere to Infection Prevention and Control policies.
- Engage in staff development and performance management initiatives.
What You’ll Need
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Basic qualification accredited with SANC in General Nursing, allowing for registration as a Professional Nurse.
- A post-basic nursing qualification in Primary Health Care accredited with SANC.
- Minimum of four years’ appropriate experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent supervisory and teaching skills, with a focus on teamwork.
