What You’ll Do

• Provide optimal, holistic nursing care in a professional and legal framework.
• Deliver comprehensive health care services within the Primary Health Care Unit.
• Manage resources effectively and efficiently to enhance patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement programs to maintain high healthcare standards.
• Supervise patient care standards and ensure compliance with health policies.
• Foster constructive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Report on patient safety and address challenges within the unit.
• Implement and adhere to Infection Prevention and Control policies.
• Engage in staff development and performance management initiatives.

What You’ll Need

• Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Basic qualification accredited with SANC in General Nursing, allowing for registration as a Professional Nurse.
• A post-basic nursing qualification in Primary Health Care accredited with SANC.
• Minimum of four years’ appropriate experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent supervisory and teaching skills, with a focus on teamwork.
