What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive primary health care services to offenders.
• Conduct routine examinations, diagnosing and treating minor ailments.
• Develop and implement individual nursing care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in clinical audits.
• Manage medical stock, including ordering and controlling supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for effective service delivery.
• Contribute to administrative duties including statistical reporting.

What You’ll Need

• Degree or National Diploma in nursing with four years of relevant experience post-registration.
• Post-basic qualification in Primary Health Care accredited by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Current registration as a professional nurse with the SANC.
• Valid driver’s license and computer literacy.
• Knowledge of nursing care processes, relevant legal frameworks, and health programmes at the PHC level.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage performance information.
