What You’ll Do

• Implement and advocate for health programs and initiatives to serve clients effectively.
• Supervise patient needs, ensuring access to essential resources such as nutrition and oxygen.
• Administer prescribed medication and monitor ongoing patient health in the clinic.
• Collect and verify data for reporting purposes in alignment with departmental targets.
• Motivate and support staff development to enhance nursing expertise.
• Ensure adherence to National Core Standards and Ideal Clinic Realisation.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, including preparing reports.
• Assist the Operational Manager in managing operations and supporting clinic functionality.
• Organize and plan your workload and that of support personnel for optimal nursing care.
• Ensure the proper management and security of medical supplies and equipment.

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of 4 years of appropriate nursing experience registered with SANC in General Nursing.
• A post-basic qualification in Primary Health Care accredited with SANC.
• Current registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, health programs, and standards.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong coordination and planning abilities, complemented by supervisory skills.
• A commitment to patient rights and adherence to health policies.
