What You’ll Do

  • Manage clinical services throughout Bhisho Hospital in line with departmental standards.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of health records adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Lead and train staff on morbidity and mortality reviews, enhancing their professional development.
  • Participate in continuous medical education and quality improvement programs.
  • Coordinate the efficient delivery of clinical and administrative support services.
  • Conduct regular clinical audits and develop action plans based on findings.

What You’ll Need

  • Appropriate qualification allowing registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Valid registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a medical officer post-registration.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the National Health Act and Public Finance Management Act.
  • Strong competencies in leadership, financial management, problem-solving, and communication.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
