What You’ll Do

  • Register work-seekers on the Employment Services System (ESSA) to facilitate access to job opportunities.
  • Provide registration services for work and learning opportunities on ESSA.
  • Refer work-seekers to employment counselling services for additional support.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to the placement of work-seekers in jobs and training programs.
  • Participate in advocacy sessions and perform general administrative duties as needed.

What You’ll Need

  • A Matriculation/Grade 12/Senior Certificate.
  • Understanding of departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as labour legislation and regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and effective communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to solve problems.
  • Good listening skills, telephone etiquette, and the ability to conduct interviews.
  • Capability to interpret legislation relevant to employment services.
