What You’ll Do

  • Provide registration services for work-seekers on the Electronic System for Skills and Employment (ESSA).
  • Assist in registering work and learning opportunities on ESSA.
  • Refer job seekers to Employment Counselling services for additional support.
  • Offer administrative assistance to ensure the effective placement of work seekers in various opportunities.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks and participate in advocacy sessions when necessary.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate is essential.
  • No prior experience is required for this role.
  • Understanding of departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Basic knowledge of Labour Legislation and the Employment Services Act.
  • Strong computer literacy and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to solve problems and listen effectively.
  • Telephone etiquette and proficiency in interviewing techniques.
  • Capacity to interpret legislation as needed.
