What You’ll Do

  • Maintain high levels of hygiene in and around SAPS premises.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, and removing refuse.
  • Clean bathrooms, kitchenware, and utensils, ensuring sanitary conditions.
  • Safeguard and handle a variety of cleaning materials responsibly.
  • Load and unload goods as necessary.
  • Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety requirements for hygienic workspaces.

What You’ll Need

  • Competency in the core functions of the Cleaner role.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • Citizenship of South Africa, with documentary proof required.
  • ABET Level 4/Grade 9/Standard 7/NQF Level 1 qualification.
  • Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of cleaning protocols and the ability to handle cleaning detergents.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary and to interact professionally with other officials.
