What You’ll Do
- Maintain cleanliness in and around the SAPS premises by dusting, polishing furniture, and mopping floors.
- Vacuum carpets and clean bathrooms and kitchens to uphold hygiene standards.
- Remove refuse and manage waste disposal efficiently.
- Safeguard and handle various cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods as required.
What You’ll Need
- Competency in the core functions of the Cleaner role.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- South African citizenship with documentary proof to be provided at the interview.
- ABET Level 4/Grade 9/Standard 7 certificate (NQF level 1 recognized by SAQA).
- Basic understanding of cleaning detergents and Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
- Good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with other officials.
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
