What You’ll Do

  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned SAPS premises, including both indoor and outdoor areas.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing furniture, and vacuuming carpets.
  • Mop tile floors and ensure that bathrooms and kitchens are kept hygienic.
  • Safeguard and handle various cleaning aids effectively.
  • Manage refuse removal and assist with maintenance tasks in the facility.
  • Conduct garden maintenance services as required.
  • Clean state vehicles and kitchenware to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

What You’ll Need

  • Competency in the core functions of cleaning.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • South African citizenship with documentary proof.
  • ABET Level 4/Grade 9/Standard 7/NQF Level 1 certification.
  • Understanding of cleaning detergents and occupational health and safety protocols.
  • Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with other officials.
  • Capability to operate elementary cleaning machines and equipment.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
