What You’ll Do

  • Provide secretarial support to the Chief Director, managing calls and correspondence.
  • Maintain office equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
  • Compile and manage the Chief Director’s schedule of appointments.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including logistical arrangements.
  • Draft documents and reports, including monthly and management reports.
  • Organize travel arrangements and manage the leave register and telephone accounts.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and safekeeping of office documentation.
  • Monitor budget-related documents and alert the Chief Director to financial matters.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to respond to inquiries.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF level 6 qualification in Office Management, Office Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in office management, administration, or secretarial work.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of financial administration and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • A commitment to the principles of Batho Pele and customer service excellence.
