What You’ll Do

• Clean offices and common areas daily to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
• Dust and wax office furniture, maintaining a polished appearance.
• Sweep, scrub, and wax floors to keep them in top condition.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets as needed for cleanliness and comfort.
• Clean walls, windows, and doors to enhance the office’s overall presentation.
• Empty and clean waste bins, including those in restrooms.
• Maintain restrooms by ensuring adequate supplies and cleanliness.
• Report any broken cleaning equipment to the appropriate personnel.
• Keep and maintain cleaning materials and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Clean machines, such as microwaves and vacuum cleaners, after use.

What You’ll Need

• ABET, AET, or Grade 10 qualification recognized by SAQA.
• Knowledge of effective housekeeping practices and procedures.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment efficiently.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• Good interpersonal relations and communication skills.
• Capability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
