What You’ll Do
- Clean offices and common areas daily to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
- Dust and wax office furniture, maintaining a polished appearance.
- Sweep, scrub, and wax floors to keep them in top condition.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets as needed for cleanliness and comfort.
- Clean walls, windows, and doors to enhance the office’s overall presentation.
- Empty and clean waste bins, including those in restrooms.
- Maintain restrooms by ensuring adequate supplies and cleanliness.
- Report any broken cleaning equipment to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep and maintain cleaning materials and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Clean machines, such as microwaves and vacuum cleaners, after use.
What You’ll Need
- ABET, AET, or Grade 10 qualification recognized by SAQA.
- Knowledge of effective housekeeping practices and procedures.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment efficiently.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
- Good interpersonal relations and communication skills.
- Capability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
