What You’ll Do
- Update and maintain the asset and database register to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct and control the movements of assets throughout the department.
- Identify surplus, obsolete, and underperforming assets for potential disposal.
- Develop and maintain a disposal plan that aligns with departmental policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with relevant prescripts and legislation.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of Grade 12 with two years of relevant experience in Asset Management or Supply Chain Management (SCM), or a National Diploma/Advanced Certificate in SCM, Logistics Management, Asset Management, or Finance with one year of relevant experience.
- Strong interpretation and application skills for policies and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and innovative thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in research, report writing, and presentation facilitation.
- A valid driver’s license for travel as required.
