What You’ll Do

  • Perform daily cleaning of offices, reception areas, corridors, elevators, boardrooms, kitchens, restrooms, and state property.
  • Maintain and store cleaning materials and equipment appropriately.
  • Empty and dispose of office dustbins and refuse in designated areas.
  • Regularly check and clean bathrooms to ensure hygiene standards.
  • Clean windows both inside and outside of the facilities.
  • Assist in preparing boardrooms for meetings, including serving refreshments.
  • Request cleaning supplies as needed to ensure ongoing cleaning operations.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF 3 qualification (Grade 8 / ABET / AET certificate) or equivalent recognized by SAQA.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow guidance.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning products.
  • Understanding of hygiene practices and chemical handling skills.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Planning, organizing, and interpersonal skills.
