What You’ll Do
- Monitor the safety of officials and departmental assets, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Administer access control procedures to maintain the integrity of the building.
- Manage the control room and oversee key control activities.
- Provide administrative support services for the sub-directorate, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Conduct security standby and after-hours inspections to uphold safety standards.
- Manage resources within the security division, optimizing functionality and service delivery.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma (NQF6) or an Undergraduate Bachelor Degree (NQF7) in Security or Security Risk Management.
- A Grade B Security Certificate and PSIRA registration.
- At least one year of functional clerical or administrative experience in Security Training Services or Security Management Services.
- Knowledge of departmental policies, criminal procedure, safety regulations, and public finance management.
- Strong management, computer literacy, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
