What You’ll Do

  • Conduct final reviews and audits on quantity survey procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate quantity survey efforts across various disciplines for effective integration.
  • Set and monitor quantity survey standards and specifications aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage the operational capital project portfolio, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Facilitate the compilation of innovation proposals adhering to organizational principles.
  • Create and manage risk logs while implementing sound risk management practices.
  • Provide technical specialist services to minimize risks associated with quantity surveying.
  • Oversee the development and motivation of human resources within the discipline.

What You’ll Need

  • A university degree (NQF 7) in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
  • Registration as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for Quantity Surveying Professions (SACQSP).
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • A minimum of six years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
  • Strong computer literacy and familiarity with various acts related to construction and quantity surveying.
  • In-depth knowledge of government regulations and standards affecting the construction industry.
