What You’ll Do
- Conduct final reviews and audits on quantity survey procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Coordinate quantity survey efforts across various disciplines for seamless integration with current technology.
- Manage the execution of quantity survey strategies, establishing structures and resources to achieve operational goals.
- Monitor and direct quantity survey services in alignment with organizational objectives and efficiency metrics.
- Ensure the availability and management of funds to meet budgeting objectives within the quantity survey environment.
- Compile risk logs and manage significant risks through sound risk management practices.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives to support professional development and operational requirements.
- Oversee the development and performance of human resources within the quantity survey team to maintain a competent knowledge base.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 / Matric certificate, along with a qualification at NQF Level 7 in Quantity Surveying as recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of six years of post-qualification experience in quantity surveying.
- Compulsory registration with the SACQSP as a Professional Quantity Surveyor.
- A valid driver’s license (applicants with disabilities are exempt).
- Strong skills in strategic capability, leadership, problem solving, financial management, and people management.
- Proficiency in project management, operational compliance, and technical consulting.
