What You’ll Do

  • Provide expert electrical guidance and input for innovative engineering applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical and functional standards from an engineering perspective.
  • Investigate proposals for innovative service delivery mechanisms and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Compile electrical briefing documentation and specifications for projects.
  • Contribute to the determination of construction procurement strategies and asset management plans.
  • Oversee the investigation and commissioning of electrical engineering installations.

What You’ll Need

  • A recognized engineering qualification (B Engineering / BSc in Engineering) at NQF level 07.
  • A Government Certificate of Competency in Electrical Engineering as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng is advantageous.
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience post-qualification.
  • Valid registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
  • A valid driver’s license, except for individuals living with disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and construction industry contracts.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience related to electrical services and maintenance.
