What You’ll Do

  • Conduct final reviews and approvals on engineering designs, ensuring adherence to established principles.
  • Coordinate design efforts across various disciplines to guarantee seamless integration with current technologies.
  • Pioneer new engineering services and management methods to improve operational standards.
  • Set maintenance standards and specifications to enhance operational availability.
  • Monitor maintenance efficiencies and direct engineering services to align with organizational goals.
  • Manage resources, compile risk logs, and oversee significant risks in line with sound practices.
  • Provide technical consulting services to mitigate engineering-related risks.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing initiatives to promote professional development.
  • Manage the operational capital project portfolio according to organizational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and efficient cash flow management.
  • Develop and motivate human resources to maintain a competent knowledge base within the engineering field.

What You’ll Need

  • A B degree in Architecture or a relevant qualification recognized by SAQA.
  • Six years of post-qualification architectural experience is required.
  • Compulsory registration with SACAP as a professional Architect.
  • A valid driver’s license, except for individuals living with disabilities.
  • Strong skills in people management, financial management, and project management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in functional computer literacy and effective planning skills.
