What You’ll Do
- Oversee the implementation of conditions of service and remuneration for employees, including leave, housing, and medical benefits.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring compliance with departmental policies.
- Supervise the management of personnel records and handle termination of services.
- Ensure effective use of human, physical, and financial resources within the department.
- Provide secretariat functions during interviews and manage the probation periods for new hires.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of Grade 12 or NCV Level 4 qualification.
- A recognized National Diploma in Human Resource Management/Development (NQF Level 6).
- Relevant PERSAL certificates and experience in a Human Resource Management/Administration environment (3-5 years).
- A valid driver’s license and proficiency in using the PERSAL system.
- Strong understanding of the Public Service legislative framework (PSA, PFMA, PSR, etc.).
- Excellent communication, report writing, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and an understanding of archiving processes.
