What You’ll Do

• Supervise and coordinate all network and communication system operations within the department.
• Monitor network performance and security, utilizing advanced tools to ensure optimal functionality.
• Ensure reliable connectivity across departmental sites, including LAN, WAN, and WiFi networks.
• Oversee backup and data recovery procedures to safeguard essential information.
• Maintain comprehensive ICT documentation to support operations and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to ICT security standards and data protection policies.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 6 qualification recognized by SAQA.
• Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or Telecommunication Engineering/Electronic Engineering are advantageous.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Information Technology or a related field.
• A valid driver’s license (not required for applicants with disabilities).
• Knowledge of network design, security, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, OSPF, and BGP.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and their applications.
