What You’ll Do
- Manage and oversee the implementation of departmental services and programs at both provincial and district levels.
- Coordinate land acquisition services and support land development initiatives.
- Facilitate the execution of land tenure and land rights programs.
- Provide spatial planning and land use management services.
- Oversee the production and submission of project reports.
- Lead the implementation of strategic land acquisition initiatives and property management.
- Ensure effective project management and corporate governance frameworks are in place.
- Maintain internal and external networks to stay updated on best practices in corporate governance.
- Monitor and track departmental programs and projects to ensure compliance and efficiency.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field (NQF Level 7).
- A Nyukela certificate (Pre-entry Certificate to the SMS) submitted prior to appointment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior managerial role.
- Proven experience in project management and the ability to implement an outcome-based performance approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design and implement change management programs.
- A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with management and intergovernmental relations.
