What You’ll Do

  • Analyze human resource requirements and report on capacity to enhance the effectiveness of the education system.
  • Oversee the revamping of the post allocation system to reduce class sizes and improve teaching quality.
  • Implement a Human Resource Management Information System to streamline processes and improve performance evaluations for educators.
  • Foster effective labour relations within the education sector, ensuring a harmonious working environment for all staff.

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification at NQF Level 7 in Education or Social Science recognized by SAQA.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior managerial role within the education sector.
  • Proven experience in education planning, human resources, or labour relations management.
  • Extensive knowledge of policy funding and implementation in the education system.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, along with proficiency in computer applications.
  • Leadership capabilities in managing teams effectively.
  • A postgraduate qualification in relevant fields will be an advantage.
  • Core competencies in strategic capacity, leadership, people management, and financial management.
