What You’ll Do

  • Provide ICT infrastructure and security services for Data Centres and Networks.
  • Manage the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of new ICT systems.
  • Develop and maintain policies for information and knowledge management.
  • Oversee IT Governance and Compliance processes.
  • Coordinate Business Intelligence services and support data analysis.
  • Manage the provision and support for districts’ information management components.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot BI systems, ensuring data quality and integrity.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate/Grade 12 and a Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or Informatics (NQF Level 7).
  • A minimum of three years’ experience as a Principal Data Technologist.
  • Five or more years of experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Hands-on experience in data cleaning, validation, and integration.
  • Familiarity with large datasets, data warehousing concepts, and performance reporting.
  • Valid driver’s license and knowledge of SQL or query-writing would be advantageous.
  • Strong skills in data extraction, transformation, and dashboard development.
