What You’ll Do
- Manage technical services and support in hospitals and clinics, ensuring smooth operations.
- Promote safety and compliance with regulatory requirements across all technical activities.
- Provide input into technical manuals and procedures to incorporate new technology.
- Oversee quality assurance measures to meet specifications and standards.
- Contribute to the budgeting process and monitor expenditure for efficient cash flow.
- Prepare and submit reports as required, consolidating inputs for operational planning.
- Manage and motivate artisans and related personnel, ensuring high performance.
- Liaise with relevant bodies and councils on technical-related matters.
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems for projects and financial records.
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
- Appropriate Trade Test Certificate as per the Manpower Act of 1981.
- National Diploma in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
- A minimum of ten years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan or Artisan Foreman.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Strong knowledge of project management and technical design.
- Proficiency in computer-aided technical applications and technical report writing.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and change management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
