What You’ll Do

  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with the BCEA, Sectoral Determinations, and the National Minimum Wage Act.
  • Independently execute investigations into reported contraventions of labor laws and enforce compliance as necessary.
  • Plan and conduct structured advocacy initiatives to educate the public and stakeholders about workers’ rights and labor laws.
  • Analyze the impact of advocacy efforts and compile detailed reports to inform future strategies.
  • Contribute to the regional planning and execution of inspection activities to enhance overall effectiveness.

What You’ll Need

  • A three-year tertiary qualification in Labour Relations, BCom Law, or LLB.
  • A valid driver’s license to facilitate inspections and travel.
  • A minimum of two years of functional experience in inspection and enforcement services.
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws, including the Labour Relations Act and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Strong facilitation, planning, organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, problem-solving, and effective communication (both written and verbal).
