What You’ll Do
- Manage and resolve complaints lodged with the Commission, adhering to established procedures.
- Develop and implement fast-track procedures to enhance complaint resolution efficiency.
- Conduct proactive and reactive investigations into complaints and provide comprehensive reports.
- Maintain and update the database and tracking system for complaints, ensuring accurate records.
- Monitor compliance with turnaround times for responses and provide weekly reports on progress.
- Categorize and assess complaints for appropriate investigation or referral to other authorities.
- Coordinate alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes and maintain documentation consistency.
- Prepare progress reports on ongoing work and perform administrative tasks as assigned.
What You’ll Need
- NQF Level 6 qualification in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economic Science, or Law.
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in an investigation and enforcement environment.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and categorize complaints effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with complainants and stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in using database systems and tracking tools for complaints management.
