What You’ll Do

  • Provide negotiation support by offering technical inputs and analytical assistance to negotiating teams.
  • Offer helpdesk support on trade and investment issues, ensuring timely follow-up on multilateral topics.
  • Compile various reports, including meeting and travel reports, within established timeframes to maintain operational efficiency.

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification at NQF Level 7 in Economics, International Law, International Relations, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in trade research or international relations within the public or private sector.
  • Proven ability in policy analysis and drafting briefing documents.
  • Familiarity with multilateral forums and negotiation processes.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
  • Competence in MS Office and readiness to travel internationally.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
